A zombie strolling through town

Leaving the mansion behind Odric wandered around the town to take in the lay of the land and it's people. Walking through the town bazaar a nostalgic feeling came over him as he watched the men, wives, and children playing and going about their business. A group of children, two boys and one girl, weer playing with a ball across the street when one of the boys kicked the ball too hard and lost control of it and the ball came to rest at Odric's feet. The children rushed over to retrieve their ball and stopped in front of Odric who had knelled down to pick it up. Reaching the ball out to the children, and with a smile playing across his face Odric said,

"Here, I believe this belong to you."

The young girl ran up and with a gleaming smile thanked Odric and ran off with the two boys to continue their game. Odric stood and wandered on through the bazaar with a face that looked like it wanted to but couldn't shed a tear.

After Raysunko was knocked out the manor he decided to move on and look around town own his way he bumb into a familiar looking person
Sorry I wasn't looking... hey, your that guy I saw earlier at the manor. Oh by the way my name is Raysunko Chrome.

With a continued sad look Odric looked at the strange man that had barged into the manor and had just recently bumped into him

"No, no, it's my fault for not looking where I was going," Odric forced a smile onto his face and extended his hand towards Raysunko, "Names Odric Ray. I must ask though where you learned your manners from, just barging into someones manor like that?"

Odric's expression turns to one of perplexity

"Exactly how long have you gone without human contact?"

Odric raised his burnt right hand to the back of his head and scratched,

"Now what in tarnation would posses you to avoid human contact fer a year? It don't make sense boy."

Odric Lokked over the young buy again with an air of perplexity.

Sadness struck Odric's face for a sec as he observed this youth.

"hmmm sounds like you've got quite a story son. But don't worry I'm one guy who wouldn't run away from someone just cause they have a checkered past. Besides," Odric leaned in closer to the youth and put his hand up to his mouth so only the youth could hear, "I'm a zombie. You're not the only one who makes mistakes."

Odric straightened up and motioned the young boy to follow him into a tavern.

Raysunko a little glad that he got to talk to someone in a while.
Really, so your a zombie does that mean you can't die?

Odric picked the farthest seat from everyone else so no one would over hear their conversation. Upon taking a seat he motioned for a waitress to bring over a bowl of stew and some milk for Raysunko.

"To answer your question kid I don't know if or how I could die. Oh, and boy could you try to refrain from speaking of me being a zombie... don't wana upset the folk around us."

"Well son why don't you tell me your story then? Mite lift a weight off your shoulders."

With that question raysunko started to think back a year ago...
Well it all started a year ago...
On my sixteen birthday I watched my family get murdered in front of me. This activated my powers and I went and chase down the killers. As I got one of the killers and ask why he killed t\my family he said that it was an order from My real father. Then he said that my sister was the one that gave me away because I'm am the heir to the family throne. But he didn't want to give up his position so he decided to kill me,but he notice that I was gone and he have been looking for me up till then,and now I'm training to take revenge.
After Raysunko was finished he felt a little relief.

"Wohhoho son slow down with your story. Ifn I might make a suggestion why not add some more to the story, might be more entertaining and heart warming that way,"

Odric bellowed a deep hearty laugh and then placed a hand on the youth's shoulder, a solemn expression playing across his face.

"I'm sorry to hear of your family. Mine was also taken from me."

Odric Leaned slowly back in his chair and looked raysunko in the eyes.

"Mine is a tale of misplaced trust. A witch-doctor came to our village ya see and not more than a week after I let him stay with my family at my house he cast a spell that turned me into a zombie and burnt my family to ashes. Now I'm using my circumstances to hunt that man and bring justice unto him."

Raysunko listened to what Odric said, And felt little sorrow
A witchdoctor... you let a witchdoctor into your house?
Raysunko thinking about doctor's feeling a little uneasy.
Oh Odric do you know about this King's Game?

"I'm afraid I don't know much about such things. That be why I'm staying at that manor. They lady of the manor seems to know more about this stuff so I'm gona learn what I can and go from there."

Well then I see you later I'm going to start my training... Bye.
With that Raysunko headed out the tavern and set off to Fringe Lands.

The young man had left. Odric sat in his corner of the tavern for awhile longer thinking of his memories. The talk with the youth has brought up some painful feelings.

"Maybe I should go home for a bit."

Odric placed the money for the stew and milk on the table and proceeded out of the tavern.
