Almost all of Ahri's early life is unknown to her, and mostly everyone. She was born to a low life family. Her father was addicted to drugs, and didn't even look after his daughter. The mother was no different. It's a miracle that she managed to survive her early years, really.
Then, around the age of 2(she never really learned her birthday, but it could be guessed she was almost two) she vanished from the care of that family.
For the next 15 years she was unheard of from anyone, and nobody seemed to care. Her parents seemed to understand what had happened, but told nobody, so it was just assumed that Ahri had died or run away.
When Ahri DID return to the world, nobody recognized her. Mainly because of the strange fox like ears she'd developed, and the 9 tails she had. Most people avoided her, but she's actually extremely sociable, and loves attention. She's nice, but never received a proper education, or learned much about the world. She's almost like a toddler in an adult body. She has no memory of her past, but strangely seems to know exactly how to handle herself in a fight. It was as if she'd been trained.
